This OSHA 8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher (Remote Classroom w/Live Instructor) course is required each year for anyone who has already taken the initial 24- or 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and has kept current with their annual refresher training.
This OSHA conformant 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher classroom training session meets the annual refresher requirements for the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER Standard.
The objectives of this course are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(8), 29 CFR 1910.120(p)(7)(i) or 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(8) for general industry, and 29 CFR 1926.65(e)(8), 29 CFR 1926.65(p)(7)(i) or 29 CFR 1926.65(q)(8) for construction.
This training will take a minimum of 8 hours to complete. Our standard 1-day delivery format is one 8-hour day. Other options are available for client-hosted classes.
This classroom training is offered as open enrollment at our training facility or as on-site training hosted by the employer. You can request a quote to have on-site training conducted at your location. Safety Unlimited, Inc. also offers an OSHA 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher Online version of this course as well.
Each student who successfully completes this course will be issued a Fed-OSHA Certificate of Completionfrom Safety Unlimited, Inc. in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120.
This course is also intended to meet any HAZWOPER training requirements for the EPA and State OSHA regulations. Students will also be mailed a PVC Wallet ID Card with an optional photo.
Per the California Department of Public Health, Safety Unlimited, Inc. is authorized to offer 8 Contact Hours (0.8 CEUs) of Continuing Education (CE) for this program.
While these CE units are intended for Registered Environmental Health Specialists (REHS) in California, they are often transferred to other accrediting bodies. Please check with your specific agency for more details and to learn if your agency accepts this course for CE credit (Public Health Accreditation #044).
